Vocational Studies – More Valuable than Ever

I ran into one of my old university professors the other day and posed him a question – why are most of the people I studied with working in posts that have nothing to do with their chosen degrees?The answer – they chose the ‘wrong’ degrees. Well, not wrong in the strictest sense of the word, but according to him it is in fact those choosing skilled, focused and vocational degree courses that are today finding excellent posts in the fastest times and in the most suitable industries. And where does this leave the rest of us? Sadly, perhaps right where we are right now.
